English Proofreading

• £7 to £11 per thousand words.
• The price depends on your standard of English and the number of words.
• Discounts offered to students.
• £25 minimum charge.
• These prices are for texts written by native English speakers only.
• A surcharge will apply for texts written by speakers of other languages.
• English Proofreading prices are calculated from the actual number of words in the original document as determined by the Word Count facility in Microsoft Word. The count will not be rounded up to the nearest thousand.
• Free trial for all new customers.

Language Translation

• £50 per thousand words basic price.
• £30 minimum charge.
• If the document is available as a Microsoft Word file, Language Translation prices are calculated from the word count of the French or German source document as determined by the Word Count facility in Microsoft Word. The count will not be rounded up to the nearest thousand. However, if you only have a printed version of a document, then the final word count will be taken from the English Language Translation as this is generally easier for both parties to verify. I am happy to estimate the number of words from the printed document to aid with budgeting before commencing work.

Surcharges
The basic Language Translation and English Proofreading rates may be subject to a surcharge depending on a number of factors such as subject matter, complexity, turn-around time and format. For example, additional fees may apply for rush or weekend work, handwritten documents, extra formatting or other non-standard requirements. I will always advise you of any extra costs before starting the work.
