Why should I hire you instead of just using my Spellchecker?
Even though a word may be spelled correctly it may not be the right spelling for that intended meaning. For example, a spellchecker would not know whether you need "their" or "there", "from" or "form", "its" or it's". And how about that possessive apostrophe? Should it be "the cat's eyes" or the "cats' eyes"? Well, it depends how many cats there are and your spellchecker wouldn't know that!

The spellchecker simply checks that each word is spelled correctly. While this is a really useful facility,
it does not allow for the context of that word. A good example is the common mistyping of the words "from" and "form".
"It was lovely to hear form you" is obviously wrong!

Would you believe the following sentences are correct according to spellchecker?!
Eye sore them walk down the rowed two day. They went to the bakers too bye sum bred. I would of spoke to them but aye was on my con pewter at the thyme.

But perhaps this version would make more sense?
I saw them walk down the road today. They went to the baker's to buy some bread.
I would have spoken to them but I was on my computer at the time.

Why do you only translate into English?
A native speaker of a language has an oral and written command of a language which they learned as a child and have continued to use as their language of habitual use. Combine this with some formal language training and you have a native language expert.
Joanne is a native language expert in English (UK version). This means she has an intuitive knowledge of the cultural and linguistic aspects of the English language. Although she is fluent in French and German, she is not a native speaker and may, therefore, miss a slight nuance in meaning if she was to translate into these languages.
